Snow Sports

There are 2 main ski resorts easy to access from Lone Eagle. You can see the lifts of Granby Ranch from our deck and is great place for more intermediate and novice skiers/ snowboarders. We love taking our young children there and we think it is the perfect place to learn! Winter Park has world class skiing and is a short 25-30 minutes drive away.

Snow sports also include amazing tubing hills + snow shoeing + Snowmobiling

Lake Life

There are 4 major lakes within 20-30 minutes of Lone Eagle.

Lake Granby + Grand Lake + shadow Mountain Lake + Monarch Lake.

Lake life activities are endless SUP, Boating, canoeing, fishing, kayaking, sailing, and swimming…

Golfing

There are 4 golf courses within minutes of Lone Eagle.

Granby Ranch + Grand Elk + Pole Creek + Grand Lake

Hiking

There are hiking trails as you step out the door at Lone Eagle and many more in the surrounding areas. We are also a 30 minutes drive to Rocky mountain National park. We have a list of our favorites in our guidebook for guests!

Biking

There are epic mountain biking trails and lift system at both Granby Ranch and Winter Park.
